About Me

i write and, i guess i’ve been writing more lately. sometimes i dont write anything at all- for months and months, and i feel invalid and empty and helpless. i think somewhere i really believe that writing can impact people- mainly because it has me. when you grow up in a place you rarely felt at home, and often felt quieted by life you tend to find a little bit of salvation in the voices of other people who were once silenced also. thats really what i want from my work. i dont want to hide pain, and happiness, and joy, and victory, and defeat in images and pictures and ideas that people can’t easily grasp. i feel like these are my stories, and that they are similar to a lot of other people’s stories as well.  i dont think i’ve gone through anything special, i just want to put out there what other people might not be able to for themselves.  there are better writers than me out there, and more interesting sites that you could’ve visited, but i honestly thank you for taking the time you must have (at least to read this) out of your day to read about me, and my life, and my thoughts.  On the whole I’m glaring normal, I read a lot of books, I work at Starbucks, and I drink a glass of wine nightly.  I’m moved by honesty in people, and real love- the kind that gets scraped through the dirt, and kicked, and spit on, and then brushes itself off and holds you tight and reminds you that life can be worth living even though it sometimes doesn’t feel like it.
